Er. Amrendra Prasad Singh, Membership No. D-028, holds a B.Tech in Electrical Engineering and an MBA in Operations Management. He has over 35 years of professional experience in operations, project management, techno-commercial operations, consultancy, EHS, regulatory compliance, government coordination, vendor management, negotiation, and manpower management.

His professional experience spans several industries, including sugar, distilleries, power, cement, textiles, iron and steel, oil and fats, and compressed biogas (CBG). He has been involved in installing and developing industrial projects across Uttar Pradesh, Punjab, Gujarat, Bihar, Jharkhand, and several international locations.

He has held senior positions including Manager at JK Industries, Vice President at Nahar Group of Industries, Director of Consultancy Services at Integrated Casetech, Principal Consultant at Global Cane Services, Managing Director at Simbhaoli Power Pvt. Ltd., New Delhi, and Group President of Eastern India Biofuels, Eastern India Cements, and EIB Ethanol Pvt. Ltd., New Delhi.

One of his key professional contributions has been promoting the utilisation of waste heat for surplus power generation in sugar and textile industries, enabling industries to inject additional power into the national grid and improve their economic viability. He has also managed complete company operations, including finance functions and diverse projects involving joint-venture partners, green-energy projects, municipal waste, solar projects, and coal- and biomass-based power projects.

His career includes extensive experience in corporate planning, strategy, control, operations, and project management, with a focus on profitability and optimal utilisation of resources. He has also gained international professional exposure across countries including Germany, the Netherlands, Kenya, Ethiopia, Tanzania, Zanzibar, Syria, Lebanon, Iran, the Philippines, Australia, Myanmar, Singapore, France, Switzerland, Sweden, Denmark, Norway, and Canada.

Er. Singh has been associated with the Babu Kuanr Singh Education Fund since 1983, initially as a beneficiary. During his student years, he contributed to the fund by selling souvenirs, helping bring professors of Science College into the membership, and supporting needy students through the fund while studying at Science College and B.C.E.
