Advocate Sanjay Singh

Born in 1963 in a family of lawyers, Sanjay Singh is a fourth-generation lawyer, carrying the legacy of his forefathers, Late Rai Bahadur Haridhyan Singhji, Lale Kali Prasad Singhji and Late Justice Udai Pratap Singhji.

Having completed his education in Delhi, he joined the Patna High Court in July 1988. He has been designated as a Senior Advocate and, by dint of his hard work, has earned a reputation for being a forthright and fearless lawyer, championing the cause of the downtrodden and the weak.

He has been the elected President of the Bar Association of the Patna High Court for two consecutive terms. He is associated with the Akhil Bhartiya Adhiwakta Parishad and is the Zonal Head of the Knowledge Collective for Bihar and Jharkhand, spearheading the work of narrative building.

Besides his work in the social and legal domain, Sanjay Singh is an ardent farmer like his father, Justice U.P. Singhji. He is associated with Babu Kunwar Singh Siksha Nidhi and many other organisations working in the field of education for all and child welfare.

The two daughters and one son of Sanjay Singh are the fifth generation of lawyers, and proudly carry forward the family legacy.
