Dr. Rameshwar Kumar Singh

Dr. Rameshwar Kumar Singh is a senior Orthopaedic and Joint Replacement Surgeon with nearly two decades of clinical and surgical experience, currently practising in Siwan, Bihar. A native of the Siwan–Gopalganj region, he comes from a family with a strong legacy of public service. His grandfather was associated with India's freedom movement, while his father was a JP Senani.

An alumnus of the prestigious Mahatma Gandhi Institute of Medical Sciences (MGIMS), Sewagram, Dr. Kumar completed his MBBS and MS in Orthopaedics from MGIMS and subsequently earned his DNB qualification. Over the past 20 years, he has treated and operated on more than 25,000 orthopaedic patients, with a special interest in joint preservation and joint replacement surgery.

He is the Founder of Sri Sai Hospital, Sri Sai Group of Institutions, Srishti NGO, and Le Dawai, a digital healthcare platform focused on helping people with knee pain improve their quality of life through education, exercise, lifestyle modification, weight management, and evidence-based non-surgical approaches.

Beyond clinical practice, Dr. Kumar has remained deeply committed to community service. Through various social initiatives, he has performed more than 300 surgeries for underprivileged patients free of cost, conducted free health check-up programmes across more than 300 villages, and trained more than 7,000 village health practitioners in first aid and basic healthcare.

His commitment to professional and social leadership extends to several organisations. He has served as Charter Secretary of Lions Club Siwan and is presently its President. He is a Melvin Jones Fellow and currently serves as Vice President, IMA Bihar. He has also received professional fellowships and recognition from orthopaedic associations at the state, zonal, and national levels.

Currently, Dr. Kumar serves as Professor & Head, Department of Orthopaedics, Mamta Medical College & Hospital, Siwan, while continuing his clinical and surgical work as a Consultant Orthopaedic & Joint Replacement Surgeon at Sri Sai Hospital, Siwan. A healthcare educator and social media influencer with nearly one million followers, he uses digital platforms to spread practical health awareness and make reliable medical knowledge accessible to the wider community.

Beyond his professional achievements, Dr. Kumar considers his family his greatest strength. He is a proud father of two sons and husband to a loving and supportive wife, whose encouragement has remained an important part of his professional and social journey.
