Smt. Uma Singh

Smt. Uma Singh is the wife of Late Bharat Prasad Singh and the daughter of Late Justice Sarjoo Prasad Singh. She was born in Buxar, the land associated with Babu Veer Kunwar Singh.

During her school and university years, Smt. Singh was an accomplished sportswoman. She was a school champion and record holder in various track-and-field activities, reflecting her dedication, discipline and sporting spirit.

She completed her Bachelor's degree in Hindi from Patna University. During the formative years of the Babu Veer Kunwar Singh Siksha Nidhi, she was inspired by her father, Late Justice Sarjoo Prasad Singh, and developed a strong association with the cause of supporting education.

Later, when her husband, Late Bharat Prasad Singh, took responsibility for the Babu Veer Kunwar Singh Siksha Nidhi, she actively supported the organisation's educational mission. She has consistently encouraged her children to contribute to the fund and has herself remained a donor member.

Through her continued support, Smt. Uma Singh has helped carry forward the educational and social-service legacy of her late father and husband. Her association with the fund reflects her commitment to education, philanthropy and the advancement of deserving students.
