Dr. Sanjay Kumar Singh

Dr. Sanjay Kumar Singh was born and brought up in Dehri-on-Sone, Bihar, and has devoted more than three decades of his professional life to providing medical and surgical care to the people of his hometown and surrounding areas.

He belongs to a respected medical family. His father, Late Dr. Ramashish Singh, was a renowned General Physician and a highly respected member of the local community. His dedication to medicine and service to society became an important inspiration for the next generation of the family.

Dr. Sanjay Kumar Singh completed both his medical and postgraduate surgical education from Patna Medical College, Patna. He obtained his MBBS and MS in General Surgery from the institution.

He has been practicing as a Senior General and Laparoscopic Surgeon since 1990. Through his own hospital, Ashish Nursing Home in Dehri-on-Sone, he has provided surgical care to patients from the town and surrounding region. With more than three decades of experience in General and Laparoscopic Surgery, he has established a longstanding professional association with the local community.

Alongside his medical profession, Dr. Sanjay Kumar Singh has remained actively associated with various social and community activities in the region. His career reflects a commitment not only to the practice of medicine but also to serving the community in which he was born and raised.

The family's tradition of medical service continues into the next generation. His son, Dr. Kumar Vaibhav, MD (Ophthalmology), is an Eye Specialist who has joined him in serving the community at Ashish Nursing Home. Together, they represent a continuation of the family's longstanding commitment to healthcare and community service, carrying forward the legacy established by Late Dr. Ramashish Singh while expanding the family's medical services to include Ophthalmology alongside General and Laparoscopic Surgery.
